The UP Center for Ethnomusicology (the Center) may change the Terms of Service from time to time without prior notice. You understand and agree that if you use the Service after the date on which these terms have changed, the Center will treat your use as acceptance of the updated terms.
Terms of Service
- Usage Requirements.
To browse the Collection, you will need a compatible device, internet access, browsing software, and media plug-ins. Your ability to browse the Collection may be affected by these factors. The Center will not be responsible for providing such requirements. - Digital Content.
The UPCE Collections Portal. The Collections Portal enable you, subject to the restrictions set forth herein, to browse the Collection catalog and view sample Digital Content (catalogs, diagrams, scores, audio, video, documents, and images) on your devices, including but not limited to mobile devices, e-readers, and personal computers.
Restrictions. You may not copy, rip, download, upload, reproduce, exhibit, present, transmit, distribute, broadcast, sell, rent, lease, transfer, or assign rights to the Digital Content or any portion of it except as expressly permitted by the Center. In addition, you may not remove any watermarks, labels, or other proprietary notices on or in the Digital Content. The copyright in all the Digital Content remains the property of their respective owners. - General.
Service Changes. The Center shall have the right to update, suspend, modify, or discontinue the Service at any time. Additionally, the Center and the copyright holders of Digital Content may update, suspend, modify, or discontinue such Digital Content and change digital rights settings for such Digital Content from time to time.
Termination. If you fail to comply with any of the terms in this Service, the Center may take legal action against you and automatically terminate your rights hereunder, including revoking your access to the Service or Digital Content, without notice to you. The Center's failure to enforce any of the terms in this Service will not constitute a waiver of any of its rights or any terms of the Terms of Service.
Amendment. The Center may amend the terms of the Terms of Service at its sole discretion by posting the amended terms on its website. Your continued use of the Service after seven days following the date such amended terms are posted will constitute your acceptance of and agreement to be bound by the amended terms.
