"Gathering papers may have been difficult during the pandemic. In the beginning, months before vaccines were produced, an uncertain aura kept us to our laptops and virtual spaces. While this allowed us to be productive digitally, quarantine kept us from the efficient human conversations we were used to. The exchange of ideas and editing was difficult perhaps because we were conversing with air. Music performance imagined is like looking at archived objects in a museum and wondering how these objects functioned during times we can only picture."
